THE SMILE SHOP
Judy Hulatt took over the Banbridge Practice in 1986. Ian Hulatt joined in 1989, when the Lisburn Practice was opened. Andrew Barker joined the team in 2004. Andrew has completed a year long course in advanced cosmetic dentistry
Both practices occupy ground floor premises. While all surgeries are wheelchair accessible, unfortunately at present the toilet facilities are not.
Appointments may be made with Ian or Andrew in Lisburn on Mon, Tues, Thur and Fri and Banbridge on Wed. Appointments may be made with Judy in Banbridge on Mon, Tue, Thur and Fri and in Lisburn on Wednesday.
We are constantly updating our techniques and equipment in order to offer a wide range of routine and cosmetic treatments
Over the last number of years, Ian has completed further training in orthodontics and so is able to carry out more complicated orthodontic treatment than normally done in general practice including “Invisalign” invisible braces.
All the Dentists regularly attend courses to keep aware of new developments in modern dental treatments.
We provide a full range of at home and in surgery whitening treatments.
Sharon Robinson RDH (QUB 2008) attends Lisburn to provide dental hygiene services on Monday and Wednesday and Jill Corkey RDH (QUB 2006) attends Banbridge on a Thursday.
These may be made by telephone or by calling in person. Every effort will be made to arrange an appointment at a time suitable to you but more popular times may require a wait.
We make every effort to carry out routine relief of pain on the same day but please phone early so we can arrange an emergency appointment.
If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment , please let us know as soon as possible as someone else may need your appointment. Failure to attend will result in a £15.00 charge.
Relief Of Pain
Please phone your usual surgery, the answerphone will give up to date details of available clinics.
It is most important that you tell us if you have any medical conditions or are taking any prescribed or alternative medication.
Please tell us if you have heart or chest conditions or any allergies.
Arrangements may be made for home visits for the infirm or disabled patients. Referrals will be made for specialist treatment or for the anxious patient
After your examination you will be given a treatment plan which details the treatment you require and an estimate of the cost (this may change as treatment proceeds). We encourage you to pay as you go along and we reserve the right under Health Service Regulations to ask you to pay in full before completion of treatment.
For ease of payment we also accept Mastercard , Visa and Debit Card facilities.
In the first instance, these should be addressed to the dentist providing your treatment or may be addressed to either Judy or Ian (in the strictest confidence) and we will endeavour to follow our compaints procedure to settle the problem to everyone’s satisfaction.
